Cultural Artefacts - Zulu Ceremonial Spoon and Shield

Cultural Artefacts is the first major project at NIDA, in which we are tasked to select a Culture and research their way of life. From this research, we must select two artefacts and replicate them using both contemporary and traditional techniques.

The two artefacts I choose to replicate were the Izinkhezo Ceremonial Spoon and the Igqoka Dance Shield from the South African cultural group, the Zulu.
