Furniture Project - The Wing Chair Replica

A replication of Dmitry Kozachyshyn's 'The Wing Chair' created for the NIDA furniture project, an assessment where the student has to select a chair and replicate the design as close as possible.

The dimensions of the chair were reverse engineered and then a digital model was made in Rhino 3D. From this model, a set of working plans can be developed and the chair can be made in the physical world.

The replica features a angular steel frame painted in matte back with medium density foam upholstered in white vinyl.
